THIS Easter bunny looks a little bit funny. IN FACT, he looks a little bit like . . . A DINOSAUR. He has claws, and sharp teeth and seems pretty scary. Could he REALLY be the Easter bunny?!
Hilarious, anarchic and with hugely fun details to spot, this is the perfect book for parents looking for an EGGcellent Easter gift – with added dinosaurs!

This is a brilliant Easter story and one that we found hilarious!
We join the (not so!) scary T Rex as he’s building up to a day of scaring all of the other dinosaurs. When he reaches his den however he finds it covered in Easter eggs with a queue of little dinos outside hoping to get some. They run after him calling ‘Easter bunny!’
The T.Rex is cross and adamant he is NOT the Easter bunny!!

’The Easter bunny does not stomp.
And it does not have claws.
Or banana-sized teeth in its stinky- sized jaws!

The T.Rex can’t be the Easter bunny. Can he?

We absolutely loved this story. My son couldn’t stop laughing. His favourite page was when the T.Rex started to look like the Easter bunny. The illustrations are so vibrant and funny and we loved all the expressions on the T.Rex’s face!

He has asked me to read it numerous times since we received it. A great new addition to our Easter story collection.

Without spoiling the ending, T-Rex is a ferocious dinosaur who is being accosted by some smaller dinosaurs about being the Easter Bunny...it then becomes hilariously funny!
Saskia has written such a wonderfully funny text here, extremely easy to grasp but SO FUNNY and this is juxtaposed perfectly by Matt’s wonderful illustrations that will have the children pointing and looking for clues.
One of the best picture books of 2023 for sure and I hope these two mighty artists can bring us more books with MORE of this goodness, SOON!
